Why we don't use beeswax in our Lip Balm

Many natural lip balms rely heavily on beeswax, but we chose a different approach.

Beeswax can create a protective seal on the lips, which helps reduce moisture loss, but beeswax alone doesn't hydrate. If lips are already dry, a wax-heavy balm can sometimes simply lock in existing dryness unless it's balanced with deeply nourishing oils. General lip balm formulations use waxes primarily as an occlusive barrier rather than as the moisturising ingredient itself. 

That’s why we use plant-based soya wax instead, blended with coconut oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E - ingredients chosen to soften, condition and support long-lasting comfort. So instead of lips feeling coated, they feel genuinely cared for.
